Elina Svitolina moves into the R16 in London after beating Carina Witthoeft of Germany, 6-1 7-5. 

Elina is the first Ukrainian woman, who reaches this stage of the Wimbledon Championships. 

Today she needed 1 hour and 12 minutes to clinch the third-round victory. After leading with one set and a break in the second, Elina lost her advantage but didn't let the German to serve out the set. She took three games in a row from 4-5 down to finish the match in her favor. 

Elina moves into the second week of a Slam for the first time outside the court of French Open. Up next for Elina Svitolina is 2017 Roland Garros champion Jelena Ostapenko, who won the junior title at Wimbledon in 2014.
