- It's amazing, I wasn't even sure that I would be in the final. I had a very tough match in the quarterfinals. I am happy how I played today. I really enjoyed all the support, people cheered for me, pushed me to play better and better.

First of all congratulations to Shuai and her team, it was a good week for you. Thanks to all the judges and ballboys for your work, as well as sponsors and authorities who made this tournament at such a high level. I hope I will be back here next year again to enjoy this event.

Thanks to my team, we worked hard every day and, I guess, it was worth it (laughs). Many thanks to all the fans and everybody who has supported me. Thanks to all the people here for the support. In quarterfinals, when I was down, you were pushing me to go forward. Your support for me - it's always something special. Hopefully, next year I will come back here to defend my title.

Next week Elina will join the Ukrainian national team to compete against Australia in the first round of World Group II in Fed Cup.
